Frequently Asked Questions About Sony & Mitsubishi Compatible Thermal Paper

Is Durico thermal paper compatible with Sony ultrasound printers?

Yes. Our 110mm grades — 1100HG, 1100HD and 1100S — are compatible with the Sony UP-895 / 897 / 898 Series. For the wide-format Sony UP-970 / 971 / 990 / 991AD, use the 210mm ULSTAR-2100HD. Our paper meets the same specifications as OEM Sony thermal paper and delivers consistent, high-quality prints.

Can I use Durico paper as a replacement for Sony UPP-110HG?

Absolutely. The Durico 1100HG is specifically designed as a cost-effective alternative to Sony UPP-110HG paper. It features the same high-gloss surface and delivers comparable image quality at a lower cost per print.

What about Sony UPP-110S compatibility?

The Durico 1100S serves as an excellent replacement for Sony UPP-110S standard thermal paper. It provides reliable, consistent prints for everyday clinical imaging needs.

Does Durico paper work with Mitsubishi ultrasound printers?

One of the grades we stock does: the Durico 1100HG. It is the Mitsubishi K95H / K91HG / KP91HG equivalent and runs in Mitsubishi P93 / P95 printers — and it is also the Sony UPP-110HG equivalent, so it is the one grade that covers both brands.

Important: our 1100HD and 1100S grades are Sony-only — they have no Mitsubishi equivalent. If you run a Mitsubishi P93 / P95, order the 1100HG.

Will using Durico paper void my Sony or Mitsubishi printer warranty?

No. Using compatible thermal paper does not void your printer warranty. Printer manufacturers cannot require you to use only their branded consumables. Durico paper meets industry specifications and is safe for use in Sony and Mitsubishi printers.

How does Durico paper compare to OEM Sony and Mitsubishi paper in terms of quality?

Durico thermal paper is manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications. You can expect:

  • Comparable image clarity and contrast
  • Consistent grayscale reproduction
  • Reliable feeding with minimal curling
  • Long-term image stability for medical records
  • Significant cost savings compared to OEM paper

Which Durico paper should I choose for my Sony printer?

  • Durico ULSTAR-2100HD - Wide-format premium high-density paper for the Sony UP-970 / 971 / 990 / 991AD (replaces Sony UPP-210HD; 210mm × 25m)
