We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after delivery to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Thermal paper (opened): Opened thermal paper is not returnable except when (a) the product is defective, or (b) we shipped the wrong item. If an opened thermal paper return is approved due to a confirmed defect or our shipping error, no restocking fee applies.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these eligibility requirements.


How to Start a Return (Return Authorization Required)

To start a return, contact us at returns@precisionimagingsupply.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

Returns must be authorized before sending. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If your return is accepted, we will send return instructions and where to send your package.

Fees, Shipping, and Deductions

  • Defective items or wrong item shipped: No restocking fee applies. Return shipping and/or a return label will be provided where appropriate.

  • All other eligible returns: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless required by law.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Gift cards

  • Final sale / clearance items (if clearly marked “final sale” at purchase)

  • Custom or special-order products (including personalized items), unless defective or we shipped the wrong item

  • Opened thermal paper, except as stated above for defective/wrong item

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (if eligible). Once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.


Damages, Shortages, and Wrong Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us as soon as possible if the item is defective, damaged, missing, or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue.

Reporting deadlines:

  • Freight shipments: Report issues within 72 hours of delivery (recommended within 48 hours where possible).

  • Parcel shipments (UPS/FedEx/USPS): Report issues within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve your claim quickly, please include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item(s) and packaging (including any damage)

  • A brief description of the issue

Claims submitted after these timeframes may be denied.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason and without a justification. Items must be returned in the same condition that you received them, unused, and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.

(If there is a conflict between this EU right and other policy terms, this EU section applies to EU shipments.)


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method.

Timing: Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after approval. Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund.
